Refunds

Last updated: October 24, 2026

Top-ups are prepaid credit for Cloud hosting and the Headmaster models. This page says what we refund and how. It is part of the Terms of Service.

Unspent credit from a top-up
Refunded in full if you ask within 14 days of paying
Credit you have already spent
Not refunded, unless we charged you in error
A payment taken twice, or taken but never credited
Refunded in full, or credited, at any time you tell us
Free credit and starting balances
Not refundable, they were never a payment

How to ask

Use the contact page and tell us the email on your account, the date and amount of the payment, and the PayPal transaction ID from your PayPal receipt. We answer within a few working days. Refunds go back to the PayPal account that paid, and PayPal decides how long they take to show up there.

What happens to your wallet

A refund takes the same amount off your wallet straight away, up to the amount of the payment that was refunded. If you have already spent part of that credit, your balance can go below zero. While it is below zero your Cloud runtime and the Headmaster models stay stopped, and adding credit brings the balance back up. Work mode on your PC is not affected.

The same happens when PayPal reverses a payment after a dispute or chargeback. Each PayPal event is counted once, however many times PayPal sends it. Please write to us before you open a dispute, because we can usually fix it faster, and repeated unfounded disputes can lead us to restrict an account.

If you delete your account

Deleting your account deletes your wallet and the credit in it after 14 days. If you want your unspent credit back, ask for the refund first. After deletion we keep a payment record (amount, date, PayPal reference and an internal account number, with no name or email) so we can still settle a dispute. See the Privacy Policy.

Prices, tax and currency

Everything is charged and refunded in U.S. dollars. GCAP Labs does not charge VAT or sales tax, so a refund is the amount you paid. Current prices are on the pricing page.
